We recently completed 10 carbon PAX door stands to support the production of Boeing's 777X. Our team has several decades of experience manufacturing aerospace work platforms, and this latest project is a fantastic representation of their skilled work.
Lead by Project Manager Pat Orso, this project was unique compared to many of the previous workstands and platforms ABW has fabricated for aerospace companies due to the jib cranes attached to the body of the structure. The cranes will be used to lift the 777X doors during production.
Complete with stairs and handrails, the stands demonstrate our ability to manufacture heavy tooling for final assembly lines. In addition to fabrication, the stands were blasted, painted and assembled here in house as part of our turn-key service.
